Meet Juka, an alchemist in Obla, a once peaceful land founded by Ancients with access to sound machines. After the Dark Alchemists were defeated when trying to control the ancient machines for their own evil purposes, one of them returned years later, called Menace. Suffice to say, Juka gets entangled into a twisting plot to eventually defeat said villain.

The game is played from a top-down, isometric view where you walk around solving puzzles, often by creating potions, combatting enemies, doing quests and minigames. Later in the game you obtain instruments which can be used to create ingredients for your potions which supplements shaking plants to get them.

Combat is a little different, in that you have both a light and a dark shield which captures projectiles of varying colors and shapes. These needs to be collected in the right order before you can shoot back a projectile at enemies. The dark shield absorbs projectiles and heals Juka's shield. The game features five massive areas, with plenty of zones in each where you'll need to collect ingredients and solve puzzles to advance.
