Toaru Kingdom is a peaceful place, and the Castle houses The Magical Gem; a stone that provides the owner with incredible magical powers. One day some dark forces infiltrate the castle and steals the thing. Of course, the Princess of the Kingdom won't have any of that. Armed with her sword and finesse for everything magical, she heads off to prevent certain disaster.

Magical Pop'n is a traditional platform game, albeit with slight aspects of Metroidvania to find out where to go and where to collect special powers that are required in order to continue. There are six of them in total, including things like ice blast, a swinging rope and candy bombs. Levels also feature both bosses and sub-bosses, some offering more than one. Throughout your journey you'll find both health power-ups and refills in the form of various types of sweets and magic runs on stars - naturally.

The game was exclusively released only for the Super Famicom in Japan and is today one of the very rarest games on the platform!
